The Fikca Manifesto

Coordination should feel natural, human, and joyful. Our manifesto is a promise to build technology that strengthens real relationships and gives people their time back.

Why we exist

We spend more time coordinating than connecting. Plans dissolve in group chats, calendars fight each other, and good intentions fade behind logistics. Fikca exists to remove friction so people can spend more time together in the real world.

We believe coordination is a core social primitive. Done right, it makes relationships stronger, not busier. Technology should help people align—without stealing attention or adding cognitive load.

Principles

  • People over mechanics. Tools must follow social reality, not force it.
  • Less coordination, more connection. Reduce back-and-forth, increase time together.
  • Defaults that respect. Privacy and consent are the baseline, not an afterthought.
  • Calm technology. Helpful when needed, quiet when not.
  • Interoperability over lock-in. Your data, your networks, your choice.

What we're building

Fikca is the coordination layer for your close circles. It learns preferences, aligns availability, and proposes options that make sense for real people—not just empty time slots.

It works with the calendars and apps you already use, so coordination happens in the background and decisions happen together.

Our commitments

  • Privacy by default. Sensitive by nature, guarded by design.
  • Your circles, your rules. You control who sees what, always.
  • Clarity over cleverness. Simple flows beat smart tricks.
  • Delight matters. Small moments of joy make coordination feel human.

How we work

  • Start from lived problems. We build with real groups in the loop.
  • Ship the smallest thing that helps. Then refine with care.
  • Own the craft. Design, performance, and accessibility are table stakes.
